Cards Out was this afternoon and I placed 6th in the whole class!
I was so shocked since I didn't take school seriously last quarter and every time I actually tried to study, something better would come along and I'd get distracted and it was goodbye to Biology textbooks and Math equations and hello to fictional characters and pretty boys.
I'm not so grade-conscious, but I do care about my studies. And I know that if I slack off, Mom would cut down my internet connection and I'd be done for good. I was so relieved to find out that I had honors. Plus, no line of 8's!!! They're all 9's and this has never happened in my high school life before so I was so fucking happy and proud of myself. ehehe
This afternoon was filled with so much hugging, congratulating, shouting, crying (both from immense sadness and satisfaction), and thanking no one in particular. The feeling was overwhelming but the good kind ♥
Of rainy days, cloudy skies, fiction, Korean music, pretty boys, agoraphobia, thoughts on paper, and the scent of rain on dry earth.
