first day back and it was like wading through murky water. back-to-school jitters and i felt a wee bit unsettled. like i had a swarm of butterflies for breakfast instead of the chicken sandwich i finished in two bites. all the lessons seem like gibberish, like a labyrinth, like a path that leads to nowhere. stuck in a limbo. i felt like a stranger in my uniform.
also, three more months and the countdown officially begins. we're counting down the days before we'll be measuring the minutes we have left with each other. here's to us. and to what we will become.
