a few things:

• I'm back to posting poems again and it's a bit overwhelming, like raw emotions are waking up inside the darkest cities within me. I've never really stopped writing poems, I've just been keeping them in my drawer because they were a bit too shy for the world. I'm happy they're starting to see the light of day again. They need to breathe as well.
• "Chryss, I remember when you used to talk about how much you hated or love-hated EXO and now you're going to their concert." Story of my life right now summed up in a single sentence by the one and only Janina Camon.
• SHINee is my number one priority though. 
• Speaking of the concert, I know I'm not the only one who finds it incredibly unfair that there are 100 Press Con passes up for grabs for SVIP ticket holders and only 30 passes for VIP Diamond ticket holders when in fact, we paid for the same price. This is injustice in our part. I was fucking pissed when I learned about this last night. What's making me angrier is that SVIP ticket holders have perks. What about us???

• Mrs. Morales (my class adviser back in 2nd grade) passed away last Sunday and I was a strange mixture of sad and shocked when I first heard about the news. How unexpected and uncertain life is. A woman I used to see guiding lower graders whenever I passed by the grade school is no longer alive and breathing. She will, however, remain in our hearts and minds. I know she's in a happier place.
• Some of my classmates back from 2nd grade and I gathered money and we plan on visiting her wake tomorrow afternoon when classes are already over. I hope I'll be able to go. Mrs. Morales was a wonderful teacher and I want to pay my respects.
• May she rest in heavenly peace.

• My exam grades have been quite unsatisfactory. I don't know what to feel about this. I don't think I tried hard enough but then again, I always don't. (Nasa huli ang pagsisisi)
• Mom, I'm so sorry I love my blogs more than I love my grades.
• If you've been over at my writing blog, you might have noticed that I keep on writing about Physics even though it's my worst subject at the moment. That's because I find the laws of Physics fascinating but I just can't quite grasp my little fingers around them strong enough to fully understand. I've never liked formulas and problem solving (I can barely handle my own problems in life) and thinking logically; never really liked Science altogether ever since I entered High School (I used to love it back in elementary). So that's why I end up writing things instead of focusing during class discussions and getting out of the subject topic. Deep sigh.
• On the contrary, I'm reading fanfiction again!!! Hurrah!!! I've gone on a fanfiction hiatus ever since school started because I oftentimes had so many things to do and not enough time to accomplish all of them. Or sometimes, I got strayed away by other things. I'm so happy I'm back to being a fic monster that feeds on beautiful fan fabrication because it's one of the things I live for. It helps me forget and it's the cheapest form of therapy.
• I think I'm going to let "This Week in Photos" become a weekly post. I think.
• I need to start reading real books again. TANGIBLE ONES. I miss the feel of pages against the fabric of my skin and I miss breathing in the woody scent of paperbacks.
• Reminder to self: Book haul soon. Sooner. Soonest.
• My 5th and 6th grade selves who were major bookworms must be judging me really hard right now. I used to read 3-4 books in a week. Right now, I can't even read 2 books in a month. A MONTH. I'm so sorry, eleven-year old Chryss and twelve-year old Chryss. /bows down head in shame
• I have no idea how I'm going to save enough money for concert merch. It's hard having two fandoms because you feel the prickling need to buy two sets of everything: light sticks, posters, T-shirts, ballers, etc.
