- I am already attached to this new baby laptop of mine. Here's to rough drafts during late nights and sloppy poetry in the early hours of the morning.
- The weather has been very lovely these past few weeks - windy with a chance of rain. Whenever it's sunny out, the atmosphere's still the kind of cold I'm accustomed to and it's just nice. I hope the weather stays like this for a long time.
- Writing has become a bit like breathing. It comes to me just as naturally and I need it to live, to survive. I don't know the person I'd be if I didn't have writing as my most trusted outlet. I'd probably be more of a lost bunny than I already am at the moment.
- Haven't you ever thought that the things that make sense in this world maybe don't really make sense at all? I mean, who was pretentious enough to dictate which things were to be considered nonsensical and which things were to fall under the category of norm? How sure are we that all the terms and all the things we study that are considered 'facts of life' are enough proof of the supposed intelligence that we, the human race, have acquired over the course of our existence? And how come we just believe whatever piece of knowledge they throw at us?
- The world is all sorts of strange but its inhabitants are infinitely stranger.
- Human beings are so beautiful, you know? With all our faults and all our imperfections and all the empty spaces waiting to be filled up. I wonder why I always seem to be in constant doubt and apprehension but then I've realized that it can only mean I'm human and as a living, breathing human being, this is inevitable. I am human and I am beautiful. And so are you.
- The stark contrast between the ballads of SHINee and the ballads of EXO-K is not only the musicality, not only the flow of the songs, but also the blending of the boy's voices. SHINee's ballads tend to be a little more...colorful, shall we say, because the boys all have different voices from one another. With EXO-K on the other hand, at the start I had a bit of hard time distinguishing Suho's voice from Kyungsoo's and Kyungsoo's voice from Baekhyun's in both Into Your World and What is Love whereas if you listen to any SHINee ballad, it is so easy to tell everyone's voices apart. Also, the blending of SHINee's voices tends to be more unique and quirky as opposed to EXO-K's which falls flat at times. Heaven knows how much I love Into Your World and What is Love but SHINee's ballads are on a level of their own, especially the ones from their first full-length album. Man, those songs were absolutely beautiful. I really miss the rookie days of my five shining boys.
- I'm thinking about posting spoken-word poems. Even though I'm quite shy about letting people hear my voice, is anyone interested? Comment if you are. If I get none, then I'm just going to assume no one's willing lol
- Chemistry is killing me slowly. Every time it's Chemistry class, I have this really strong urge to lay on the tiled floor and sleep all the terms and formulas away. I could care less about molality and morality and boiling point elevations and stoichiometry and the colligative properties of solutions.
- Dismantle all the pieces of your heart and repair it with the things that truly matter.
- Except that sometimes, the things that matter cannot stop the fluctuations of the heart.
- My seatmate thought that the wine being consecrated during Holy Mass is real blood. I just stared at her in a dumbfound manner and then literally facepalmed and heaved a deep sigh. Oh, Andrea.
- I have a classmate, Mitz, who knows how to play the violin and sometimes during recess when I decide to stay in the classroom (because I like the solitude of the classroom devoid of its usual occupants), I ask her to play for me while I write sloppy, half-assed poetry. River Flows in You is always a nice accompaniement.
- Oh yeah, Se7en and Park Hanbyul were in my city for like, two days, I think. I have no idea why the hell they were here and how they managed to find out about this place. But hooray for famous Korean celebrities breathing the same city air that fills my lungs.
- Damn, if this means Bacolod's gonna get more exposure in Korea and it's gonna be a new hotspot for idols and artists, I'm gonna go nutso.
- "Chryss, I have a word for you!"
- People are already giving me words even without me asking them. Yippee~
