i know it's like 4 a.m. and i should be sleeping but i've actually been awake for the past two hours because of a toothache and that's enough to drive anyone insane so i'm just going to leave this sekai ficlet that i wrote a couple of nights ago when i didn't want to study for physics. because yes, when my mind doesn't want to deal with formulas, i write things. woohoo, go chryss, that's how you get a nice score in the long tests of your worst subject YOU DA BEST

ok i wanna cry because this is madness why am i awake with a fucking toothache huhu but anyhoo HAVE SOME SEKAI ANGST. this is the first thing that i wrote after four days of not writing anything at all and i think i wrote this under 15 minutes so please don't expect anything spectacular because i mainly wrote this for my own personal amusement. and it's angst because life sucks.

lean on the rhythm, with my song for you
Kaisoo; pg; fluff; 1566 words
Summary: Jongin thinks that you can fall easily into a rhythm if you know it well enough like the back of your hand and it's not long before he dances to the rhythm of falling and being in love.

a/n: Wrote this during the wee hours of the morning before I passed out. Please excuse the lack of quality, it's a 2 am baby. Also, this is nothing but shameless fluff. Comments are dearly appreciated and if you have time to spare, please drop by my qooh and tell me what you think. Enjoy~ <3

Mid-Februaury in Seoul is cold and biting, people bundled up in layers, their bodies seeking warmth from the coffee mugs nestled between their hands and the scarves woven around their necks. The air is nippy and  foggy breaths litter the atmosphere like smoke trails and if you squint hard enough, like gray fluttering butterflies flitting around and disappearing, replaced by other rounds of puffs coming from the artists' mouths, painting the air with escaped sighs and melancholic exhales, lungs giving way to breathe in oxygen.

Jongin doesn't feel the cold though. Jongin rarely feels the cold.  The heat in his body as he dances to the thumping of the beats coming from the speakers is enough to ward off the cold he should be feeling in the studio. He pops and locks and does graceful turns and finishes off with a final thrust, beads of sweat trickling from his forehead down to the bridge of his nose, and he's panting and out of breath but his heart is full and he feels like soaring, his feet as light as air and the exhiliration still tingling on the tips of his fingers.

 better together

Kaisoo; pg; slight!angst/fluff; 1100 words

a/n: I shut myself off in my room for an hour and this happened. Written on impulse. Loosely inspired by Jack Johnson's song, Better Together. First Kaisoo fic and first fic that I've written in a year (a Y E A R). This is eleven hundred words of poop . Comments are much appreciated.

It's the fifth night in a row that Jongin can't sleep well, bones tired and aching but mind and heart not quite ready for rest. He tosses and turns in his bed, scratching his head frustratingly as he tries to will his body to sleep. He doesn't know if it's chronic sleep deprivation or he's upset by the things weighing him down. He messed up during practice again earlier today and the disppointment etched across the stern features of their dance trainor had been bothering him to no end.

the lost can be lost together.

Jongtae (slight Jongkey); pg; fluff; 2700 words

a/n: Wrote this during summer last year. I don't even know.

2 in the earliest hours of the morning and Jonghyun is still wandering the streets of Seoul, his guitar strapped against his shoulder and bouncing along to the rhythm of his mismatched steps, his boots making soft echoes against the pavement that only the ghosts of Korea’s past can hear in the lingering voices of the night.

A/N: lol don't read if you don't like fluff because this is probably the fluffiest fic I've made out of all my fluffy fics. shameless, i know. also, this was written a few months ago, but i just decided to post this because well... just because.

^^;;

As far as Minho could tell, Taemin is the one for him.

He has to be. He has to be from the way Minho looks at the younger boy, and the way the dancer’s eyes always linger on him the longest. He has to be from the way Minho feels a sort of fuzzy feeling inside his chest whenever he watches Taemin dance, the younger boy’s movements so fluid and precise and natural, as if there was nothing more obvious in the world except that Taemin was made to dance and dance was made for Taemin. He has to be from the way Minho feels like going crazy whenever Taemin nuzzles his nose against his neck, the maknae’s thin and bony arms wrapped around Minho’s toned shoulders, whispering sweet nothings into the older boy’s ear, his soft and raspy breath tickling the corners of Minho’s earlobes. He has to be from the way Minho feels a little faint whenever Taemin’s jeans are a little bit too ill-fitting and ripped at the seams, revealing slices of smooth, milky white flesh, and all Minho wants to do at the moment is ravish the younger boy’s body. He has to be from the way Minho shoots sideway glances at the other boy whenever he’s with their noonas and hyungdeul, playing around and just having fun, although he knows that it bothers Taemin so he makes it a point to grab the younger boy’s butt afterwards, not caring about the cameras displayed all around them. He has to be because whenever Taemin snuggles beside him, he is reminded of old, familiar clothes and warm mugs of coffee. He has to be because his whole world revolves around the younger boy’s axis.

As far as Taemin could tell, Minho is the one for him.

He has to be. He has to be from the way Minho looks at him with those big, brown eyes, like orbs of chocolate seething right into his soul. He has to be from the way his heart flutters in the most unusual way whenever he feels Minho watching him dance, his body moving along with the beat and the rhythm of the music, his heart and mind racing with him. He has to be from the way Taemin feels right at home sitting on Minho’s lap, his arms around Minho’s shoulders, his lips murmuring I love you’s and This feels so nice. He has to be from the way he knows that Minho is watching the contours of his legs, the fit of the skinny jeans too tight for comfort, the rips and shreds of clothing showing off porcelain skin, and for just a moment, he sees Minho gulp and try to regain self-control, and Taemin smirks in spite of himself. He has to be from the way Taemin’s insides turn prickly and his mouth sets in a straight line whenever he sees Minho interacting with their pretty noonas and hyungdeul, jealousy splayed all over his feminine features, looking far from the cute and innocent little maknae image he projects on-screen (although Minho senses his resentment and redeems himself by grabbing Taemin’s butt. The little devil, Taemin thinks, look at all the cameras!]. He has to be because whenever Taemin’s nestled against Minho’s arms, he is reminded of home, of the scent of pine during on a cold winter morning, of the happy and carefree days of childhood, of all thoughts naïve and innocent. He has to be because whenever he’s around Minho, he is hopeful for a promise of forever.

And as far as the two boys could tell, Taemin is the one for Minho and Minho is the one for Taemin.

They have to be. They have to be from the way they act around each other differently as to the way they act around others. They have to be from the brushing of their fingertips before performances, from the supportive pats on the back, from the silent good luck’s mouthed by the eyes. They have to be from the way Key stares at them warily from his seat on the table whenever Minho tries to feed Taemin dinner, the latter proposing he’s too full to eat anything, with the older boy ignoring the maknae’s previous statement, claiming that Taemin needs some meat on his bones. They have to be from the way they look into each other’s eyes, Minho’s hesitant and worried chocolate-brown orbs inquiring Are you ready?, while Taemin’s brown- black crescents are boldly saying with a slight quiver Yes, I am. I’m ready.

They have to be from the way they moan into each other’s mouths in the dead of the night, hips thrusting against each other languidly in the most wanton way, their body warmth mingling together and breaths sighing each other’s names in undertones. They have to be from the way their bodies are intertwined and tangled up in a hot mess that they don’t know which one ends or which leg is whose because like puzzle pieces, the curves and contours of their bodies fit together comfortably that they have become one under the sheets. They have to be because in the morning, they feel sore and tired but Taemin is snoring lightly and peacefully on Minho’s bare chest, while the older boy looks down fondly at the other sleeping and exhaling against his heart, right where Taemin truly belonged. They have to be from the way Minho pushes away stray platinum blonde strands of hair from Taemin’s angelic and delicate face, the light and blithe touches waking the maknae, but Taemin’s smiling that bright and megawatt smile at the boy he’s just made love with for the first time. They have to be because Minho thinks that Taemin’s strawberry-scented shampoo smells absolutely amazing and Taemin thinks that Minho’s heartbeats sound absolutely wonderful. They have to be because on that morning with cloudy skies and an air that was filled with the smell of it-might-rain-later, the same morning after they just made love to each other, a promise of forever was made through chaste kisses on the forehead, warm breaths on the neck, and three little words uttered in hushed tones under the covers.

They have to be.

A series of one-liners.

While other girls my age write about their oppas kissing girls, I write about their oppas kissing each other.

Tried this out, since I had the itch to write last night, but there were so many plots in my mind that I couldn't choose one. So I decided to just go with one-liners. First time doing this so it might not be as good.

Ontae/Onkey; sometimes love can be deceiving
Taemin felt familiar warmth cover his lips but it didn’t taste like Onew. It tasted like ashes. It tasted like deceit. It tasted like Key.

Jongyu; somewhere only we know
This town isn’t big enough for the both of us, he whispers in undertones, his breath warm against Onew’s neck. Let’s run away together.

2min; sunshine
Minho wanted to know what sunshine smelled like, so he nuzzled his nose against Taemin’s hair.

2min; falling in love
Taemin has always wanted to fly, so Minho throws him in the air. Taemin closes his eyes and knows that Minho will be there to catch him when he falls.

Minkey; your name
He writes Minho’s name on every page of the little blank book, a little bit sad and a little bit relieved that Minho will never get to see it.

Ontae; real eyes, realize, real lies
They whisper to each other secretly with their eyes. How was your day? Jinki asks. Taemin’s eyes whisper back, It was fine. Though from the way Taemin’s dark crescents shine with no light, Jinki knows it wasn’t fine.

Jongkey; where has love gone?
The parcel arrives two days after his birthday. Key shakes it, wondering what’s inside. He hears nothing. It is empty, just as he’d thought it would be. This was Jonghyun’s way of telling him it was over. Their love, just like the gift, has become non-existent.

Minkey; sunsets
Key has never felt so alone. You know, one looks at sunsets, when one is sad. No wonder he spends his late afternoons watching the orange orb of light drip into the vast ocean. Key sighs, wondering when Minho will come back and watch sunrises with him. Sunsets are overrated.

Jongyu; smooth criminal
Partners in crime, that was what they were called. Although Jonghyun would have to agree that Jinki was the better criminal, for he stole Jonghyun’s heart…and he never even noticed.

Onkey; invisible
Onew is always watching from afar as Key is busy watching someone else. Key suddenly looks his way, and his heart leaps into his throat. He offers a smile and brings up a hand to wave meekly. The other boy never saw.

Jongkey; staying out
Jonghyun stifles under Key’s scrutinizing glare. He tries to let out a feeble, I’m sorry, though he knows it’s useless. But you know I love you, right?

Onho; gray matters
He's clumsy. He's endearing. He has voice like drinking hot chocolate during a cold winter's day. He's doted by girls. He's handsome. And he's in love. With his sister's boyfriend.

Ot5; shining
When one is apart from the other, they shine individually like the stars. But when they’re together, they shine like a brilliant constellation. Forever shining.

Fanfics by moi.

Since the year is nearly ending, I decided to take note of all the fanfics I managed to come up in 2011.

Finished: Almighty King of Hearts, As far as they could tell/Cold Winter, Warm Hearts/ Dancing in the Rain, Falling, Farewell, High Spirits, Losing Sanity, Over a Cup of Coffee, Ramblings at the Airport, Silent thuds and Footfalls, The Inevitable Happens, The Man Who Can't be Moved, The Woods, Things that go together, and When Taemin Was

Unfinished: A Discourse with the Stars, Avoidance, Bruises, IU Drabble (this is basically a mini-drabble about IU), Train Station, Trouble

Trains of thoughts that I doubt I'll continue: Defiance, Human Contact, Nothing but the Sea

Basically, the fics tagged under 'Unfinished' are pieces that I might continue while the ones tagged under 'Trains of thoughts that I doubt I'll continue' were written under a whim. They have absolutely no plot and they don't make sense so it would be sensible to just forget about them.

Most of these fics are drabbles and one-shots. I don't write chaptered fics because I think they're dragging and I'm too impatient to deal with one. The latest that I've finished is "Things that go together" and if I feel like posting it here, I just might.

Just put these up for future reference.

Ontae Drabble; Under the Stars; pg; fluff; 349 words

fic is heavily inspired by this.
“If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I’ll bet they’ll live a lot differently. When you look into infinity, you realize that there are more important things than what people do all day.”

The two of them were supposed to be asleep at this time of night, especially because they had to wake up extra early tomorrow for the photo shoot. The two of them were supposed to be tucked in their beds, encased in deep slumber, and dreaming the night away.

But the two boys wanted to break tradition and this they did so, as they slipped away from their beds in the dead of the night, tip-toeing across their dorm in eerie silence, and meeting up in the small balcony, the cold night wind making them shiver and lean into each other’s warmth for comfort.

The midnight sky was a vast blanket of stars that night and Taemin and Jinki draped themselves all over it, basking in its eminence and glory. No words needed to be said, it was evident in their faces that they both loved the same sky, the same sky that was displayed before them for the entire world to see, and that the way they sometimes sighed professed that they both thought the sight before them was breathtaking and achingly beautiful.

Taemin was the one to break the silence. “Hyung, let’s do this again another time,” he murmured, nuzzling into Jinki’s neck. “Just the two of us.”

Taemin’s words tickled Jinki but he couldn’t bear to shy away from the younger boy. “Sure,” he replied, his voice soft and melodious and it was like music to Taemin’s ears.

And then Taemin leaned away from his neck and the absence of warmth made Jinki wistful but Taemin flashed him a smile so wide and bright that it made Jinki’s mind whirl about because Taemin’s smile reminded him of a lot of things. Taemin’s smile reminded him of innocence, of children’s laughter, of days filled with happiness and mirth.

But most of all, Taemin’s smile reminded him that all the stars in the sky didn’t matter anymore, because the most beautiful one of all was shining right beside him, on a cold night that was filled with chaste kisses, warm breaths, and silent words spoken by the eyes.
