Wow. Just wow.

Today was a whirlwind.

As stated in my previous post, I was in a bad mood this morning. That bad mood continued on 'til the afternoon.

Went to Rob as planned with Mom, and we bought all the missing stuff that she needed for the night. 2 boxes of Pizza, fruit cocktail mix, a stash of Lays, Danish cookies for Lola...and red velvet cake.

We headed over to Bob's, even though we knew it was a hopeless case because my sister and I had already tried reserving one last Tuesday and we were told that they were not accepting any reservations anymore because there were so many orders. But still, my mother had this gut feeling and she just had to make sure. Guess she really wanted some cake.

We arrived at Bob's and lo, and behold-*drumroll please*-there was no red velvet cake -_-

Mom was a bit disappointed so she decided that we should watch a movie. We bought a giant cheeseburger from Bob's that we had cut into two pieces, Jumbo fries from Potato Corner, Barbecue Super Pop from Taters, and then 2 large watermelon shakes and we were ready to watch Mission Impossible 4. lol

The movie was quite good but I don't want to talk about it. After the movie, I dragged my mom towards 31 Korea because I wanted some Korean ice cream. Stayed there for awhile, watching 2NE1's music videos until my mom got restless and wanted to go back inside the mall.

So we got back inside the mall and my mom said that she wanted to buy me a book so we went to National Book Store. On the way, I guess her hawk-eyes saw that there was a lone red velvet cake sitting atop the display section of Bob's pastries, and she wasted no time getting there and asking if there was anybody who owned said cake. The cashier said that there was none and I could see my mom silently whoop in joy. She bought the cake and then made me carry it -_- With the two large boxes of pizza -_- I was not happy -_-

I'm planning on staying up until midnight just for the food. I still don't feel the Christmas vibes though.

Oh well.

By the way, Mom kept on giving the janitors roaming around the mall hundred peso bills and saying, "Merry Christmas." The woman was generous today.
