Day 123: do you believe teenagers can fall in love
I believe anyone is capable of falling in love. It doesn’t
have to be with people only. The world doesn’t consist merely of human
beings alone. I’m a teenager and I’ve fallen in love with a thousand
different things in a thousand different ways.
Right now, I can say I’m in the love with the way raindrops look like glass shards on my windowpane. I’m in love with the smell of cinnamon cupcakes baking in the oven. I’m in love with words that roll delicately across my tongue like little waves from the ocean of light. I’m in love with the cracks on the pavements where weeds have sprouted. I’m in love with all the 4ams I woke up without acid in my veins. I’m in love with afternoons that are perfect for bike rides and nights when the wind whispers sweet nothings into my ear. I’m in love with writing, whether people love my words or not and I love how there is an entire universe at my disposal and I am free to write about anything I’m in love with.
