I saw the world wake up today.
I saw the world wake up today from the foggy windowpane of the bus I was riding. I had to be at school as early as 6 am and no one was willing to drive me to Bacolod before the break of dawn seeing as I live an hour away from school. So I had to resort to the only option I had--public transportation. On my own. At 5 in the freaking am. Such a huge achievement.
But I digress.
As I sat listening to soft, pastel music from my player, I watched the sun stretch itself across the vast horizon and the sky clear into a soft shade of blue. I watched with sleepy eyes as the stars hid behind the clouds and the moon, only a fade-out of its usual brilliance during nighttimme. I also sensed the air changing, smelled something new and fresh, and I realized how wonderful it is, to be able to experience and see and smell the world waking up.
I loved it.
