Hello, guys. How are you? Life's been on the fast lane for me the past couple of days because the world keeps happening. I had a wonderful day yesterday filled with cemetery hopping, a spontaneous mini road trip, carnival rides, a shooting range, and falling asleep on the bathroom floor. I talked on the phone with my best friend the other night and we're planning on self-publishing a two-in-one book that we can hopefully start on once summer begins. It's a bit ambitious for two sixteen-year olds (wait, Joy isn't even sixteen yet) but we want to do this. For ourselves, for others, for the words that we can never say out loud. Our vision for it is quite simple, just poems and paragraphs with different themes and we also plan on drawing on the pages for personal copies. She's going to design everything though since she's the hands-on artsy-fartsy one. This came to me in a stroke of inspiration when I asked her what it would be like if I got to publish a book of my own, just silly 10 pm thoughts when I'm a little bit drunk on sleep deprivation, and then I suddenly got the idea that it would be pretty amazing if we collaborated and worked on a project together, even though we're going to be the ones to publish the book itself. This is also going to act as our bridge once college begins, a means of communicating with each other through poems and other pieces of writing.

This is just a silly vision at the moment but we're dead serious on putting it into motion once we've finally got enough time on our hands. We're not even sure if anyone's going to be willing to buy but we'll never know unless we try.

    1. Yes, of course I remember you, you're one of my favorite people in this world and I'd live to meet up with you someday and personally hand over the book to you. We plan on taking pre-orders before we go to the bookbinding place so we don't end up with a pile of unsold books and I hereby proclaim your order as the first of hopefully many. Thank you so much, I want to hug you. This is just going to motivate us to finish the book. We even plan on finishing as early as possible, hopefully before we graduate from high school. We're going to work our butts off during the Chrustmas break so I don't think you'll wait that long! Huhu I want to hug you, so sorry for blabbering but I am just so excited!!! ;~~~;

  2. You're also one of my favorite people in the world and i already told you this but it's really amazing how someone i just managed to stumble onto on the internet has changed my life. I owe you a lot. Thank you so much! I'll wait. What's important is that you and your best friend enjoy what you guys are doing! I feel like i'll cry as well once the two of you separates in college so enjoy and make every moment last! :)

    1. It's really amazing how much you make me feel appreciated even though we're miles away. You don't know how much this means to me, honestly. I'd write you a thank-you letter but I suck at writing letters and it will never be enough to express my heartfelt gratitude. I called my best friend right after seeing this and we both think you deserve all the happiness in the world. We've finalized some things and we both hope to bring the book into completion by February of 2014. Thank you so much, you are such a wonderful human being, I don't think I deserve you omg ;;;;;;;;;;;
